Nassau, Bahamas: History buffs will love Nassau with its forts, museums, and the hand-carved Queen's Staircase. Water sports enthusiasts enjoy excellent scuba diving and snorkeling beautiful beaches, Blue Lagoon Island, and sailing. Diver and snorkel enthusiasts will find coral reefs, blue holes, walls, caves, ship wrecks, sharks, dolphins, and stingrays.
Visitors to the Bahamas can enjoy on-shore activities such as horseback riding, bird watching, gambling, golf, a variety of nightclubs with music and dance, shiopping at the Straw Market, the Festival Place as well as boutiques for art, books, candles, ceramics, clothing, food, jewelry, music, liquor, shell craft, straw creations, and wood products. Nassau is also home to the famous Atlantis Resort with its 14 acre waterscape and the world's largest open-air aquarium.
Important festivals include Boxing Day Junkanoo Parade on December 26, the Festivale Noelle in December, Junkaroo in June, all with colorful costumes, night festivities, lively music, tasty cuisine, arts & crafts, and special children's activities. The Music and Heritage Festival is a three-day celebration held in November.
Freeport, Bahamas: Freeport is located on Grand Bahama Island with beautiful beaches, tree-lined boulevards, elegant resorts, world-class shopping, and golf. The Junkanoo Festival is held on January 1.
The Bahamas Out Islands -- the Abaco Islands are laid-back with gorgeous beaches, quaint towns, and a wide variety water sports. Nightlife is very limited. However, from the beginning of June until the end of August visitors are entertained with Bahamian street festivals that include native music, food, dance, arts & crafts. Sometimes it is held in Marsh Harbour, alternating with Treasure Cay.
The "People To People" program is very popular throughout the Bahamas. It's focus is to bring travelers and Bahamians together for cultural exchange. This is not a home stay program. Persons and families are matched according to occupations, interests, hobbies, church affiliations, age, etc. and get together for a day to visit and dine. Once a month there is a tea party.

Freeport, Bahamas: Water Front Condos
The Oleander condo in Freeport, Bahamas offers all the comforts of home and has ample living space for the entire family (5 Persons Maximum)
This condo is nicely decorated and features a living room, fully equipped and newly remodeled kitchen with a dishwasher, two bedrooms (one has a king bed / private bath and second has 2 twins or a king) and two completely renovated baths with tiled walls and floors..
Additionally, in the Oleander unit, there is a large screened-in porch overlooking the waterway, providing scenic peace and tranquility. It is on the first level and is physically impaired friendly.
The Hibiscus condo, also in Freeport, Bahamas, is nicely decorated and fully furnished with a living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, two bedrooms and two full baths.
The Hibiscus master bedroom has a new king furniture suite, private bath and a walk in closet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed and there is a new sleeper sofa in the living room for the comfort of an additional guest. There are two bathrooms in the unit. The master bathroom has recently been totally renovated.
Maximum capacity is 5.
The Allamanda condo is especially roomy and extended families will have plenty of privacy and comfort staying here. The base rate is set for up to six (6) persons so that smaller groups can enjoy the condo at an affordable rate as well. The unit has four (4) bedrooms and can sleep up to 10 persons without giving up comfort. The livingroom is large enough to accommodate an air mattress which can be used for the 9th and 10th sleep area!
The condo is tiled throughout.
The kitchen is fully equipped with double ovens, ice and water through door fridge, regular stove top, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal as well as small appliances including blender. All pots, pans, storage containers, bakeware, cookware, dishes, utensils and silverware is provided.
The master bedroom offers a private bath with tiled walls and whirlpool tub. It is equipped with a king size bed. There is another bedroom outfitted with a king size bed and the other two bedrooms may be arranged as kings or as twins according to the guests' request.
There are three bathrooms and the unit has two central air conditioning zones. There is also a sauna in this condo.
In all three of these Freeport, Bahamas condos, you will find everything you require (except your personal items) to start living. All full size appliances including microwaves, dishwashers, as well as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee maker, toaster, blender, storage containers, bowls, mitts, dish towels, etc.
All bed linens and bath towels are provided as well as a beach towel for each guest. There is an iron and ironing board in each condo and alarm clocks, Cable TV, VCR & Movies, Stereo with CD and tape player. There are extra pillows and blankets so you will be very comfortable - your comfort and enjoyment of our rental units is of the utmost importance.
The units all have central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout. The condos have full security features on all points of entry. Phones for local calls are available.

The Allamanda base rates are for up to six (6) persons. The unit may be used by up to 10 persons - the 7th through 10th person each pays $18.00 per person, per night in addition to the above rental rates.
*Cleaning fee is for maid service, supplies and laundry after check out and ensures each guest arrives to a clean unit. No daily maid service is included but can be arranged with advance notice and at expense of guest.
