The Caves is not your typical Caribbean resort. It is fashioned into the rock cliffs in Negril, overlooking the Caribbean Sea. As described in the New York Times, "The colorful wooden, thatched-roof cottages could have been designed by Matisse." St. Lucia is one of the most beautiful of all the Caribbean islands. In their ads, showing a marvelous beach scene with two of their famous landmarks, the towering volcanic cones of Gros Piton and Petit Piton, the caption reads "God Did It". St. Lucia is a combination of high mountain peaks sloping to low land areas and breathtaking beaches. Lush, lush, lush and more lush -- colorful flowers interspersed with verdent green. One of the must sees is the drive-in volcano with its therapeutic sulpher springs. Activities include water sports, Scuba and snorkeling, deep sea fishing, eco tours, golf, historical sightseeing, and festivals. Temperatures year around are between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit; December through May are the driest months.

It is recommended for persons who prefer a town and country atmosphere or those who do not care if they swim in the ocean. The beaches are not good swimming beaches due to undertows and tide factors. Cancun is filled with a variety of shops and nightclubs. There is a large selection of resorts. Basically, it's a party town. For a more subdued ambiance, visitors head for the Riviera Maya. The Riviera Maya has the most all inclusive adult only resorts; they are very romantic and elegant. Beach and water sports activities are a big draw to the Cancun and Mexican Riviera areas. One of the largest reefs for diving and snorkeling in North America is off the Cozumel Mexico coast. Also in the Mexican Riviera visitors flock to the Mayan Ruins such as Tulum and Chitzen Itza.

Ti Kaye Resort & Spa is a village of little houses for adults aged 12 and over. It is built on the hillside. There are stairs everywhere, including 165 to and from the beach. There is no beach shuttle but rides can be arranged in needed. All rooms have outside garden showers, large balconies, hammocks. They are designed for good air flow or they can be closed up for air-conditioning. Facilities include a restaurant and bar, beach grill and bar, nono-motorized water sports including scuba, swimming pool, gift shop, spa. Meal rates are very reasonable.
