Getting married in Jamaica is easy. Generalized requirements include:
- Visitors can be married just 48 hours after arriving in Jamaica, providing prior application has been made for marriage license.
- Proof of citizenship -notarized certified copy of state issued birth certificate, which includes father's name.
- Parent's written consent, if under 21.
- Proof of divorce (if applicable) - notarized copy of original certificate of divorce, if applicable.
- Notarized copy of legal documents for name change, if appicable
- Notarized certified copy of death certificate for widow or widower.
- Blood Test -- None required.
After the ceremony, you have the choice of continuing your stay at the Royal Plantation Spa & Golf Resort or continuing on to another island for the second half of your honeymoon.
