Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort

Luxurious Intimate Tranquility
Sandals Halcyon Beach Resort is one of three Sandals properties on the tropical island of St. Lucia.  It is the smallest, most tranquil, and the most intimate.  You are welcome to experience all three resorts while on the island.  Stay at one; play at three.

Halcyon Beach Resort, is made for romance, relaxation, and tropical bliss with its quaint ambiance featuring hand-painted porticos, rustic stone walls, and latticed archways -- all snuggled into the fragrant gardens alive with beautiful hibiscus plants and other flowering foliage.  Emerald water laps onto sugary white sand where canoes and kayaks, hydrobikes, and sail boats await.  More adventurous guests will enjoy windsurfing, snorkeling, and Scuba diving.

There are three pools plus a Scuba pool. Two have swim-up bars. Three stress-reducing whirlpools are scattered throughout the property.  For those times guests need more than relaxing on the beach, they enjoy table tennis, day and night tennis, shuffleboard, a fitness center, billiards, croquet, board games, beach volleyball, and golf. And, as always, there is the magnificant European Spa.

Evenings are quiet but there is live entertainment, including shows, and a piano bar.

The restaurants offer diverse gourmet dining options:
  • The Pier Restaurant is at the end of the pier, overlooking the water. It features Caribbean cuisine and reservations are required.
  • Marios offers Northern Italian specialties.  No reservations required.
  • The Bayside Restaurant specializes in international gourmet dishes.  Guests can choose to eat indoors by candlelight or outdoors overlooking the ocean.  No reservations required.
ATV Off Road Adventures -- including 20 minute swim and complimentary drink.

Deep Sea Fishing -- For advanced and beginners.  Beginner instruction if requested.  Beverages included.

Martinique Splendor -- Spend the day in Martinique to shop, swim, explore. BBQ lunch included.

Shopping -- Visit a local craft market, duty free shops of Pointe Seraphine, and a mall.

Spicy Rum & Marigot Bay -- See the island as you head for the island's rum distillery for rum tasting.  See the costumes from past Carnivals.  Sample Accra (fish cakes), and go for a one-hour swim.

St. Lucia Island Tour by Mountain Bike

Errard Plantation & Jungle Tour.  Island tour to great house with 20 minute guided tour of rainforest.  See processing of cocoa beans and nutmeg.

Forestiere Rainforest Hiking Tour -- light lunch and beverages included.

Great Horse Adventure -- See the countryside on the way to the stables.  Ride through the Marquis Estate to Banana Plantation and on to the beach.

Grenadines -- Fly to the Grenadine islands to take a Catamaran cruise. Swim & snorkel.

Historical Cultural Sightseeing Tour of Castries and Surrounding Area

Land & Sea Experience -- Island tdour, Catamaran sail, swim, snorkel. Beverages included.

Party Sunset Cruise with hors d'oeuvres, Champagne, soft drinks

Soufriere Day Sail -- See quaint fishing villages, the majestic Pitons, the drive-in volcano, Diamond Waterfall.  Lunch included at local restaurant.  Swim, snorkel. Beverages included.

Waterfall Cycling Adventure -- Rainforest mountain biking to Errard waterfall for swim.  See quaint fishing village of Dennry.

Honeymoon Beachfront Concierge Room:  A private hideaway of coral rock surrounded by fragrant flowering tropical plants.  It is the closest accommodations to the beach and features 4-poster king mahogany bed, great patio with views of the gardens, ocean.  Beach views are limited.  With concierge service guests are pampered with VIP check in, special luggage handling, tour arrangements, private parties.  A personal concierge who will see that all your needs are met.

Grande Luxe Ocean View:  Floors 1 and 2.  Mahogany 4-poster king bed, patio or balcony. Views of beach, gardens, ocean.
