Sandals has introduced a new line of wedding dresses. They are awesome. So, here's how the story goes. There was a lovely bride who came to Sandals for her wedding. She brought her heavy gown, appropriate for a wedding in England. As the day progressed, the poor bride was miserable. Her hair was a mess; her makeup was running. And Sandals, then and there decided to offer brides an appropriate wedding gown designed for the tropics. A dress that is cool, can get wet, and can be packed in the bride's luggage. Sandals Dunn's River Villaggio Golf Resort & Spa is a combination of Mediterranean elegance combined with Jamaican charm. Completely refurbished in 2005, this resort just re-opened in December of 2005. It is stunningly elegant with it's Italian Renaissance-style lobby, complete with vaulted ceiling, marble columns, and an ornate, winding staircase. Guests have a choice of the best stretch of white sand beach in Ocho Rios or the immense freshwater pool, featuring a waterfall reminiscent of the famous Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios. Sandals Dunn's River Villaggio is near the Sandals Golf & Country Club; green fees are included in the all inclusive package. To ensure guests get a true flavor of Italy, Sandals hired 2 dozen performers, musicians, and chefs from Italy. Wedding packages offer all the usual items in their basic weddings: photos, music, flowers, wedding cakes, Champagne, etc. plus you can order optional upgrades. Costs can range from $1800 and up plus $450 for registration and license fees and the cost of the cruise.
